Author has a great story line for each of these books and I loved the characters very much. She kept me engaged and like I said overall I enjoyed the series.
my individual reviews for each book is under their respective book titles.

4 Stars Hereos and Villains (California Dreaming #1) By Stacey Johnston Overall, I enjoyed the book. It did drag at the beginning and took me a bit to get into it. This is my first book by the author and I will continue this series. I honestly have to finish a series lol. I enjoyed the characters in the book. They were young and I would say this is more of a YA book than NA but that honestly doesn’t change my rating. The story line was good although it was a bit slow paced. I enjoyed most of the characters in the book and I honestly look forward to finding out what all is going to happen to them ๐ Overall, this was a good book and I enjoyed it |

Sins of the Father (California Dreaming #2)
By Stacey Johnston
This is the continuation of the California Dreaming Series and focuses on Sherlyn and Stephen. I enjoyed the book for the most part, very angst driven. My heart goes out to Sherlyn and Stephen, but the reason I deducted a 1/2 star is because I wanted a better ending. (I know, I know but I can’t help it).
Overall, I am really enjoying this series and looking forward to the next book ๐

After the Dust Settles (California Dreaming #3)
By Stacey Johnston
This is the story of Sean and Hadley. I have to say that I liked it. I was happy that he was able to get his story and HEA after all. I really like Sean throughout this series and felt that the author did justice with his story ending.
Overall, this was a good series. The characters are a lot younger than I would normally read about, but overall I enjoyed this entirety (minus the ending on book 2 still a little upset with that one).

Coming Home (California Dreaming #4)
By Stacey Johnston
This is the 4th book in the California Dreaming Series and the story of Luke and Peyton. (This makes me totally think of the tv show One Tree Hill btw lol).
I liked the second chance romance that this book had, and there is the mafia aspect in here. I really think that these books are right between YA and NA (we need a new sub genre right there) but overall I enjoyed the book. I liked seeing the secondary characters from the previous 3 books.
These are all standalone however I think to get the most out of the series, you should read them all in order.
