Wow, this one of a lot more angst than I was prepared for LOL. That said, it was good. It took a little bit for me to get into it, but once it got going I really enjoyed the story.
The character development was very good and for the most part the pacing was good. The middle of this book seemed to really drag a lot for me to be honest. But I have always enjoyed previous books I have read by Tia Louise, so I stuck it out and I am really glad that I did.
Like I said, this story was packed with angst. I was all over the place with this one in how I felt and oh LORD I didn’t like that ending. Now this does end in a cliffhanger and again as I have said before I am not a fan of them (although I seem to be reading a lot of them lately…) I know that the second part of this one is not to far behind so I am anxiously awaiting that one as well.
The flow for the most part was good, there were some areas (the middle) that really dragged for me, character development was good, I really liked Marc’s character as well. I am crossing my fingers that the second part of this one makes me just totally fall in love with both characters!
