Scoring Mr. Romeo is about Luca and Sabrina (and of course little Mikey).
I really enjoyed this book. I LOVED Luca, I thought he was swoon worthy in that helpless romantic way. I know that me personally, I LOVE book with the hero falling in love with the kids. Luca does this and more. He brings little Mikey out of his shell and the interaction between the two is adorable. I also really loved the way that he was with Sabrina. He genuinely thought that she was attractive and just wonderful. He was ready for love and ready to just dive right on into a relationship with her.
Sabrina was a good character. She had some hangups (understandable) and they kept getting in her way of being happy. She wants what is best for her son (admirable) but she is to scared of what is going on with her and Luca to just believe in a happily ever after.
This is the third book in this series but can be read as a standalone (This is my first read by these authors) and I was able to follow along and enjoyed the book.
The secondary characters are hilarious and I plan to go back and read the first two books as I really want to know what happens with their story. I am looking forward to seeing what happens with Cassie as well 🙂
Overall, this was a great book. The flow was good, pacing was good, nothing felt rushed. Character development was pretty good and the book kept me engaged. If you are looking for low angst, sweet love and great banter this is one that I would highly recommend. 4 stars!!!
