*** BOOK REVIEW: VIP (Billionaire Bachelors Book 1) BY LILA MONROE ***

5 star

VIP is the first book in the Billionaire Bachelors Book by author Lila Monroe.

This is the story of Hallie and Max. Hallie is trying to make it as a photographer. She goes into a job interview and the editor doesn’t really even have the time of day for her and kind of just blows her off. She is devastated and wondering what she is going to do now. She helped at a wedding the other day and that was a bust as she was attacked by dogs and fell into the lake and ruining her camara (but she did get an amazing kiss from a mysterious man named Max). She runs into a lady in the elevator who takes her to get some donuts and offers her a job. The job? She has to be the pretend girlfriend for a week in Palm Beach, Florida. With nothing to loose, Hallie decides to meet the man to see if this is something that she would be able to do. Imagine her surprise when it is none other than her mystery man Max. Max needs to have a fake girlfriend while he deals with his family at his grandfather’s 85th birthday party. How lucky is he that it turns out to be the gorgeous photographer he kissed the other day?

This book was cute and funny. It was a fast read and had a ton of laugh out loud moments. I LOVE the relationship between Hallie and Max. The Treasure hunt is probably one of my favorite things ever. I really liked Hallie, she was honest and strong and determined to do things right, however she can’t help but remember that hot kiss they shared.

I don’t want to give a ton away in this book, but it is a low angst, fun and light read with a HEA. I look forward to reading more from Lila Monroe.
