I have to say that I LOVED that this book was written from Noah’s pov through almost the ENTIRE thing. This book was excellent. Noah was a GREAT character. He knew what he wanted, he was alpha and possessive (but not in a overly crazy way).
Noah just retired from football and is working through what he is going to do next. When he shows up to his new dream home, he finds that it has his dream girl sun bathing by his pool. Harlowe is everything that he wanted in life, but she is emotionally damaged and shut off from romance.
Wow, like I said, I really enjoyed this book. I loved that it was from the Hero’s point of view and loved watching him fall in love with the heroine. It was a nice twist from the traditional tortured hero, this time the one that was tortured was the heroine.
Ms. Black is an extremely talented writer, her character depth was fantastic and I loved the banter with all the characters. I plan to go back through and read the first 2 books in this series because I just want to read the brother’s stories as well and maybe even Evans?? The writing and the pacing were excellent and I read this book in one setting. I was able to follow along with this story without having read the first 2 in the series so I can safely say that this can be read as a standalone.
I am looking forward to more from this author! She is turning into a one click author for me 🙂
