Bad Idea #2
This is the second book in the Bad Idea series and I read this book straight through, it was intense, it was emotional raw, and so consuming. I was so disappointed when I turned the last page and I had to say goodbye to Layla and Nico. The last book in the series ended on one hell of a cliffhanger, usually I’m not a huge fan of cliffhangers, but Nicole French has a way of making her characters stay with you. I’ve been anxiously awaiting this release!
The chemistry and angst is off the charts in Lost Ones. There is an undeniable pull between Layla and Nico, and you cant help but share their joy and pain as well. It just seemed that it was never the right time for Nico and Layla, every time I thought they was finally going to get their happily ever after life would jump up and kick their ass again. Proving that love doesn’t always fix everything. My heart is still a bit raw and broken. Nico and Layla both I felt such an amazing connection to. This book is a bit heavier than book one, it deals with darker issues, so you’ll want to grab your tissues and your favorite blanket.
I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars, it was beautifully heartbreaking. I am seriously fan-girling over Nicole French. Her writing is so captivating. I seriously loved this book and all its characters. I’ll definitely be watching to see what else Ms. French has up her sleeve.
