Claimed is Book 3 in the For Her Series by author Alexa Riley. This can be read as a standalone with no issue of becoming lost. (I have not read the first 2 and I was able to follow along just fine).
This was a sweet, friends to lovers romance between Jordan and Jay. Jordan has been in love with Jay since the first moment he met her, however she put him in the friend zone from day one. He is tired of that zone and decides to take matters into his own hands. Jay thinks that Jordan is hot and she thinks that he is adorable but she doesn’t think that he thinks of her as more than that.
This was a cute, sweet absolutely no angst romance. There was a little bit of suspense (it was predictable but not bad) and for the most part this was about Jordan and Jay finally crossing that line and becoming a couple. The scenes are okay, they are not graphic in nature but good all the same. Both characters were Virgins when they got together and I felt that was a nice change.
Overall, this was cute. It was a quick read, sugar sweet romance. I felt that it could have been shorter than it was, it seemed a little much on the professing of their love for one another, and there were times that Jordan was a little TOO protective. If you want a great cast of characters, good writing and sweet romance, this would be a great book for you to check out.
